Bhoomi Devi’s New Moon Blessings: Align with Mother Earth’s Wisdom for 2025

Join me on the New Moon to honour Bhoomi Devi, the divine embodiment of Mother Earth and the source of all abundance and nourishment. In Vedic/Yogic tradition, Bhoomi Devi is a form of Lakshmi – and known as the sustainer of the universe. Bhoomi Devi’s blessings help us root deeply, clear blockages, and create fertile ground for intentional growth.

Through storytelling, guided meditation, reflective writing, and mantra chanting, we will align with Bhoomi Devi’s wisdom to plant our deepest intentions for 2025, and receive her support to help clear what may be getting in the way.

This is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and ground yourself in Bhoomi Devi’s steady and nurturing presence. You will gain more clarity and stability in your intentions, clear the path to them, as well as receive practical tools to nurture your intentions in the coming months.

This is the first of a short series of online offerings while I am in my ancestral land this winter. This particular offering was inspired by the Bhoomi Devi temple I visited recently here in Tiruvannamalai, South India – as well as the recent Pongal Festival, which among other things, celebrates this Earth Goddess.

Satya Amrita Kumari Jehman (Vedic Priestess Temple)

Born into the Vedic lineage, Satya has been living the traditional path of yoga all her life – with a more concentrated practice over the last 23 years. Satya carries the gift of fire ceremony and ritual by the grace of her ancestors from North India. She completed a year-long Yoga Apprenticeship in 2015 (Vijnana Yoga RYT200), and a deep dive study into jnana yoga (Vedic scripture study/self inquiry) with her teacher in her ancestral homeland of India amid a trio of winters from 2011-2013. While there in 2016, Satya was initiated into the Sidh Kunjika Stotram – the highest call to Maha Shakti (Divine Mother). She has been furthering her yogic studies in India with regular trips there for the past 16 years.

Satya has also completed a leadership training with a focus on Trauma-informed Leadership, Transformational Leadership, and Coaching.

Encouraged by her teachers, Satya is a facilitator of Retreats, Workshops, Ceremony, Ritual, One-on-One Guide on Salt Spring Island and surrounding communities, in India – as well as online. She offers from the deepest place in her with utmost respect and reverence to her ancestors, to You, to the Divine, and to the Self.

Yes, this gathering is suitable for those new to Bhoomi Devi and traditional yoga, as you will learn a lot about both.
All are welcome, including yogis and yoginis, yoga teachers and healing practitioners, those new to yoga, lovers of Indian culture and tradition, those interested in traditional yoga, etc.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you cancel with 24 hours of notice, you will receive a credit on file which expires July 1st, 2025.

Unfortunately, there are no refunds.

Nor can tickets be transferred to another person after January 27 at 7pm PST.
