Discover profound connection and healing through ancient ritual.

My first offering into the fire of wisdom was my mother’s body - it was also my fire priestess initiation.

Join together in circle to chant, pray, invoke and commune with the sacred frequency of the elements.

In ceremony, we sit in circle, we hold our intention, we chant, we pray, we offer, we surrender. Together, we hold this charged space co-creatively. We invoke and commune with very subtle sacred energies - the deities. The fire of wisdom burns away all that does not serve. Ultimately, this holy fire transforms, purifies, cleanses and heals.

This deeply powerful ritual has been practiced for some 10,000 years - it has endured, simply, because it works. Most deities were born from this fire of wisdom. Brighu, the Saptarishi that my family are descendants of, was also born from this fire ritual.

Vedic Fire Ceremony

Using the agency of fire inside a copper vessel, and connecting with the biodynamic rhythm of Mother Earth while we chant – the Vedic Fire Ceremony serves as a direct portal to the deities. It is one of the most ancient forms of ritual in the world, originating from Mother India long before the written word. It was channelled by rishis and seers in the high Himalayas. It serves as an altar to the Divine - and a space for healing, emotional purification, karmic cleansing, and deep transformation. Joining in Vedic Fire ceremony offers an opportunity to surrender that which does not serve you anymore. It is a symbol of that which we are (Satya/Truth), and that which we are not (Mitya/not-Truth). ॐ

Ancestral water healing ritual

Our very DNA has been imprinted by previous generations. The science of epigenetics is confirming what mystics and healers have long known: whatever our ancestors experienced, we are experiencing it — now — whether we are aware of it or not. In addition to the gifts bestowed by this ancestral influence, blockages can also be present in our system, and in our life. This water healing ritual supports the release of these blockages, in order to facilitate healing for ourselves, as well as the healing of our family members and our ancestral lines.

The Ancestral Water Healing Ritual also presents an avenue to connect with our ancestors for support - a tradition that has largely faded away from western culture. Even if you don’t know much about your ancestors, their memory is stored in your DNA. Participation in ritual will most definitely affect healing and connecting of your lineage - while also releasing attachments and encumbrances, that require letting go of in a safe, held, sacred space.

The full moon offers a powerful opportunity to heal our maternal lineages including clearing emotional blockages and stimulating creative energies. This is a potent healing ceremony for those who struggle with:

  • Blockages in loving energy including self love
  • Difficulty in giving and receiving love
  • Self judgment, and/or issues with self image
  • Safety, abandonment, unworthiness
  • Blockages in your spiritual path
  • Blocked creativity
  • Depression, lethargy
  • Blocked creative energy

The new moon is connected with our paternal lines - and its power supports the healing of low immune systems, low confidence, and the inability to bring to life one’s calling. New moon ritual offers a ripe opportunity to face our fears and move through them consciously. This is a potent ceremony for those who struggle with:

  • A sense of ongoing fear
  • Anger issues
  • Low willpower
  • Migraines
  • Damage caused by patriarchal systems

Co-creatively we will utilize the potent power of the lunar cycles not only to heal our maternal and paternal lineages, but also to express gratitude for all the blessings our revered ancestors have gifted us.

Simply said, ritual is any gesture done with emotion and intention by an individual or a group that attempts to connect the individual or the community with transpersonal energies for the purposes of healing and transformation. Ritual is the pitch through which the personal and collective voices of our longing and creativity are extended to the unseen dimensions of life, beyond our conscious minds and into the realms of nature and spirit. Ritual is a form of direct knowing, something indigenous to the psyche. It has evolved with us, taking knowing into the bone, into our very marrow.

I call ritual an embodied process.

Satya & Ceremony

Born into the Vedic lineage, Satya carries the gift of fire ceremony (aka: havan, fire yajna, fire puja) by the Grace of her ancestors, who also practiced this form of devotion. She apprenticed in India over two winters, inheriting the ceremony when her mother suddenly left her body.

Her mother’s death was her fire initiation, and her mother’s body was her first offering into the fire of wisdom. Most recently, she offered her father’s body into the fire of wisdom, which has only deepened her intention behind this offering from her ancestors and lineage. Satya humbly accepts the deep honour and responsibility to carry this lineage ritual forward, for the greater good of the Whole. Encouraged by her teachers, she has been leading ceremony on the west coast of Canada, and in south and north India during new and full moons.

She also leads ceremony for healing, renewal, union, rites of passage, and other occasions as requested. Ceremonies are conducted both with groups and in private sessions.

Satya completed a three-month study and practice in Ancestral Water Healing Ritual with Akhanda Yoga (Yogi Rishi Vishvketu) of Rishikesh, India.

Ritual is able to hold the long-discarded shards of our stories and make them whole again. It has the strength and elasticity to contain what we cannot contain on our own, what we cannot face in solitude.

Gratitude

Thank you Satya for creating such beautiful ceremonial space, and holding it with so much love. Jai Ma!

— Hanna M, Salt Spring Island, Canada

I wanted to share with you about my mother's healing following the ceremony. She was deep in my prayer during the ceremony, and her issue has cleared, and it didn't come back. I shared with her about the ceremony, and she said she was guessing this was the case. I'm so grateful! Thanks for all.

— Karin D, France

Thank you for providing our community with such a beautiful fire ceremony. You have a gift! And I felt like I was in India. I am still feeling the effects of the ceremony with a kind of wild goddess energy. The ash I took home lies on my altar. It was very special that you brought water from the Ganges River.

— Laurissa W, Salt Spring Island, Canada

Thank you for your presence, thank you for your sharing, thank you for your courage - it is a very powerful ceremony!

— Anna K, Spain

It was a really amazing ceremony and Satya is just Divine.

— Augustina Ma, Argentina
