JUNE 20 ~ Solstice Water Ceremony (VICTORIA)

Satruday, June 20, 2026
7:00 – 9:30pm
@ MĀ Yoga & Wellness, Victoria, BC

Join us for the convergence of the Summer Solstice and International Day of Yoga with a sacred water ceremony.

The Solstice marks a powerful threshold, when the light of the sun reaches its fullness and we are invited to pause, reflect, and realign with what is true.

Bring your sankalpa (intention) and offer it to this stream of wisdom. Through mantra, breath work, reflection, mudra, and water ritual, we cultivate clarity, restoration, and deeper trust in our inner guidance.

This ceremony is an opportunity to reset, listen more deeply, and carry forward what is clear, steady, and true.

All are welcome.

– Chanting the Gāyatrī Mantra x108

– Storytelling and teachings on Goddess Gāyatrī

– Traditional yogic practices including mantra, breath work, and mudra

– Ritual with our charged water + sweet offering

– Ritual blessing with energized water and prasad (sacred offering)

– Clarity and discernment

– Nervous system restoration

– Alignment with truth in daily life

– Intention setting for the season ahead

This offering is rooted in the Vedic/Yogic lineage and Bhakti Yoga, and honours Satya’s ancestral relationship to these sacred traditions.

In this ceremony, we gather with water – the element of flow, cleansing, and integration. Water receives vibration, carries intention, and holds information. As we chant, we will energize the water through sacred sound while making offerings to the deities, opening space to receive her blessings upon the seeds of our intentions and prayers.

Our bodies are made up largely of water, and water is understood to be deeply responsive to vibration. As we chant, the water becomes a living vessel for prayer, carrying the frequency of mantra, intention, and remembrance. Through this ritual, we participate in a practice of blessing, healing, and re-patterning.ॐ

Satya Amrita Kumari Jehman (Vedic Priestess Temple)

Born into the Vedic lineage, Satya has been living the traditional path of yoga all her life – with a more concentrated practice over the last 24 years. Satya carries the gift of ceremony and ritual by the grace of her ancestors from North India. She completed a year-long Yoga Apprenticeship in 2015 (Vijnana Yoga RYT200), and a deep dive study into jnana yoga (Vedic scripture study/self inquiry) with her teacher in her ancestral homeland of India amid a trio of winters from 2011-2013. While there in 2016, Satya was initiated into the Sidh Kunjika Stotram – the highest call to Maha Shakti (Divine Mother). She apprenticed in ceremony with two of her teachers in North India. She has been furthering her yogic studies in India with regular trips there for the past 17 years.

Satya has also completed a leadership training with a focus on Trauma-informed Leadership, Transformational Leadership, and Coaching with Outward Bound.

Encouraged by her teachers, Satya is a facilitator of Retreats, Workshops, Ceremony, Ritual, One-on-One Guide on Salt Spring Island and surrounding communities, in India – as well as online.
