APR. 18 ~ Healing Mother Earth, Healing Ourselves: Earth Day New Moon Fire Ceremony
Saturday, April 18, 2026
7:00 – 9:30pm
@ MĀ Wellness & Yoga, Victoria, BC

Join Satya for a New Moon Fire Ceremony in honour of the upcoming Earth Day – dedicated to the healing of Mother Earth, the collective, and our own inner landscape.
As we gather, we bring our sankalpa (healing intention) into the fire of wisdom, offering prayers for Mother Earth, for the collective, and for the healing we are working on within ourselves.
We will work with the sacred, yogic healing mantra – Mahamrityunjaya x 108 – rooted in Shiva.
We will practice pranayama, mantra, fire offerings, and other yogic tools including yantra (sacred geometry) and mudra (sacred hand seals) to support presence, focus, and deeper inner listening. There will also be space to include prayers for those you wish to send healing to.
This is a space to release what feels heavy, reconnect to what is true, and remember that our healing is not separate from Mother Earth, for we are always in relationship with her.
Come support the restoration of balance within yourself, for Mother Earth, and for the greater Whole.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE:
- Guided fire offerings for personal, planetary and collective healing
- Breathwork, mantra, and meditation to support release and grounding
- Shiva stories and symbolism to deepen healing connection and reflection
- Use of yantra and mudra to support focus and inner alignment
- Space to send prayers and healing to loved ones and/or the collective
- Earth-honouring intention setting and integration
- Prasad (sweet offering) and a blended anointment of the activated charcoal (vibhuti), and sacred Ganges water from India.
All are welcome, no previous ceremony experience is required.
This offering is rooted in the Vedic lineage and Bhakti Yoga, and honours Satya’s ancestral connection to these sacred traditions.
Background on Ceremony
In ceremony, we sit in circle, we hold our intention, we chant, we pray, we offer, we surrender. Together, we hold this charged space co-creatively. We invoke and commune with very subtle sacred energies – the deities (aka: spirits/goddess/Creator – or whatever you call Source). The fire of wisdom burns away all that does not serve. Ultimately, this holy fire transforms, purifies, cleanses and heals.
Using the agency of fire inside a copper vessel, and connecting with the biodynamic rhythm of Mother Earth while we chant – the Vedic Fire Ceremony serves as a direct portal to the deities. It is one of the most ancient forms of ritual in the world, originating from Satya’s ancestral land of India some 10,000 years ago. It was channelled by rishis and seers in the high Indian Himalayas. It serves as an altar to the Divine – and a space for healing, emotional purification, karmic cleansing, and deep transformation. It is a symbol of that which we are (Satya/Truth), and that which we are not (Mitya/not-Truth). It is a ceremony that re-patterns trauma, and a sacred space where we can let go of everything that is keeping us separate, including fear and attachment. ॐ
*This ceremony is also known as agni yajna, fire puja, and havan.
